One of the distinctive challenges of this project was the need to accommodate an extensive pipe run. To address this, the installation incorporated two pump stations working in parallel. This innovative solution ensured that the required head and flow rate were met efficiently, guaranteeing the optimal performance of the solar water heating systems.
Efficient Heat Storage for Commercial Solar Water Heating Systems

To efficiently store the solar-generated heat, the system featured two 2000-litre calorifiers equipped with direct solar and constant temperature heating coils. This choice allowed for seamless integration with the solar water heating panels, ensuring that every ray of sunshine was harnessed for the benefit of the hospital.
Smart Separation for Maximum Efficiency in Commercial Solar Water Heating Systems
To further enhance efficiency and safety, the solar water heating system was intelligently separated using a plate heat exchanger. This separation ensures that the primary and secondary sides of the system operate as distinct sealed entities. Additionally, a separate shunt pump was introduced on the secondary side, dedicated to supplying the calorifiers.
